Who We Are

Bridgepoint is a church on mission. We live in a community that has a thriving local population of about 5,200 (between Wisconsin Dells and Lake Delton). In addition to our local community there are over 4,000 international students coming from over 50 countries who come to work and live, for a period of time, every year.

Our core Values

01
INTIMACY WITH THE FATHER

“Come near to God, and He will come near to you,” James 4:8. Our Father is seeking intimacy with us, His children. We strive to be in constant commune with the Father through the reading Scripture and prayer. This is at the core of who we are. Everything we do is an overflow of the love from the Father. Without close intimacy with Him, everything else will run dry.

02
GOSPEL-CENTERED LIVING

Being a Christian is much more than just professing a name. When Jesus said, “take up your cross and follow me,” and “whoever loses their life for me will find it,” He was calling us to surrender ourselves and submit to Him as Lord. When we allow Christ to enter into every aspect of our life, we experience the abundance He promised us.

03
HOLY SPIRIT LED

As Christ-followers, we live by the Holy Spirit’s direction. Before we go or do, we pray and seek His guidance. We are a group that prays alone, together and for each other. We believe the Father will hear us and bless us as He sees fit, knowing that without prayer and dependence on the Holy Spirit, our man-made efforts are futile.

04
MAKE AND RELEASE DISCIPLES

“Come near to God, and He will come near to you,” James 4:8. Our Father is seeking intimacy with us, His children. We strive to be in constant commune with the Father through the reading Scripture and prayer. This is at the core of who we are. Everything we do is an overflow of the love from the Father. Without close intimacy with Him, everything else will run dry.

05
MULTI-GENERATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

“Come near to God, and He will come near to you,” James 4:8. Our Father is seeking intimacy with us, His children. We strive to be in constant commune with the Father through the reading Scripture and prayer. This is at the core of who we are. Everything we do is an overflow of the love from the Father. Without close intimacy with Him, everything else will run dry.

Travis and Chris Houston

Travis and Chris Houston have called home to Wisconsin Dells and Bridgepoint since 2014.  Travis is on the pastoral team while Chris works at the office.  Together they lead the hospitality ministry.  Their heart is to walk alongside of people in the mountains and valleys of life, loving and caring for them and pointing them to Christ.

The Houstons have three sweet children.  In their free time you may find them testing out the riding lawn mowers at the local Home Depot with their boys or snuggling their sweet little girl.  They also love working on house projects, being outside, gardening, cooking, and playing with their kiddos.

Current Projects

We love and value the younger generations!  We believe Jesus has great purposes for them now.  We want our students to know that Jesus loves them and that they are empowered by the Holy Spirit to share God’s love with their friends.
