Bridgepoint is a church on mission that spurs one another on to look and love like Jesus.
We desire to help people grow in relationship with God, live alongside the body of Christ,
and fulfill their mission and purpose as they share the good news of Jesus. The church was never meant to be solely for Sunday gatherings. The church was called to build up the Kingdom of God, be imitators of Christ, and multiply and equip followers of Jesus.
This is the heartbeat of Bridgepoint.
Our gradual and steady transformation in Jesus Christ happens as our lives imitate His life. Our intimacy with the Father deepens as the Holy Spirit strengthens our inner being. The Bible promises, “Come near to God, and He will come near to you” (James 4:8). Our Father is seeking intimacy with us, His children. We strive to be in constant communion with the Father through reading Scripture and prayer. This is at the core of who we are. Everything we do is an overflow of the love from the Father. Without close intimacy with Him, everything else will run dry.
We are a disciples-making church. Our desire is that God would use us to raise up generations of radically committed followers of Christ and send them out to the nations. We desire to make devoted followers of Jesus, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them all we have been taught as we go with the power and presence of Jesus (Matthew 28:19-20).
All of the “one-another” encouragements in Scripture describe the awesome reality that every member of the church is to share in the life and responsibilities of each other. The richness of Jesus’ vision of the body of Christ stems from his continual emphasis that every member is valued and is on mission together. The body of Christ was designed to be made of different parts. Young and old, we are one church, loving and serving God in community as we spur each other on towards Jesus.
As Christ-followers, we live by the Holy Spirit’s direction. Before we go or do, we pray and seek His guidance. We are a group that prays alone, together, and for each other. We believe the Father will hear us and bless us as He sees fit, knowing that without prayer and dependence on the Holy Spirit, our man-made efforts are futile.
Being a Christian is more than just professing a name. When Jesus said, “take up your cross and follow me” and “whoever loses their life for me will find it,” He was calling us to surrender ourselves and submit to Him as Lord. When we allow Christ to enter into every aspect of our life, we experience the abundance He promised us.
When we planted here in the Dells our heart and prayer was to see people and communities restored — to be used by the Lord as a bridge to bring people, families, businesses, and churches together. Christ being the ultimate restorer, we desire to see God’s children bridged together and living for His glory.
Bridgepoint exists to be a place of equipping. A place where people can gather, belong in community, learn more about Christ, and live life on mission for Him daily. Christ offers us abundant life, but that doesn’t mean a life idle to consumer church culture and comfort. Jesus commanded each and every one of His followers to make disciples of all nations. This is not just those who work in ministry, but for you and each and every one of us who are the church. Bridgepoint is a home for those yearning to grow deeper in the love of God, be known by Him and community, and walk in the will and purpose God has given each one of us.

We love and value the younger generations! We believe Jesus has great purposes for them now. We want our students to know that Jesus loves them, and that they are empowered by the Holy Spirit to share God’s love with their friends.
